Mesopotamia is a Greek word "meaning land between the middle." Mesopotamia is a ancient region where it is surrounded by the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. Mesopotamia has a variety of cultures, empires, and many civilizations. During these times many different types of civilizations started to develop new laws. Developing many new civilizations made Mesopotamia bigger and stronger. Sumerians, Akkadians, Babylonians, Assyrians, Chaldeans, and some of the Phoenicians, Hittites, and Persians
made up Mesopotamia. These first civilization had different believes to rule government. Now today Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Turkey
